DUSTIN PRACTISES HIS PUTTING
Dustin Johnson’s performances were not impressive in 2012 season so far, but probably, the firearms will come together at the Pebble Beach. He had some remarkable history in this very event. Johnson went through a knee surgery during the off-season.
The twenty-seven year old grabbed the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am title in the year 2009 and 2010. More importantly, he endured an epic collapse later in that season at the US Open. He began the final round with a 3-shot lead that promptly went away when he triple-bogeyed the 2nd hole, double-bogeyed the 3rd and shot 82.
Few days ago, Dustin Johnson told that he always enjoy coming back. He looks forward to this week all the time since he had a whole lot of success here. He has a good partner as well a good group; therefore, they are expecting to have a lot of fun.
Dustin is partnered with a friend and attorney Joe Rice. Nat Hardwick and Kyle Thompson make out the foursome. It is not a coincidence that all of them are from South Carolina. Johnson withdrew his name from the Humana Challenge because of a stiff back. He was also disappointed with his game, particularly with his putting. Recently Johnson stated that he had not been swinging well, therefore it was hard to fit him for a driver. The golfer added that his knee is fine, but he has not been walking he plays as he does not want to exaggerate it.
Dustin has been looking to perfect his putting woes. At Waste Management Phoenix Open, last week, Dustin pulled his Scotty Cameron and replaced it with Itsy Bitsy Spider Ghost putter. He stated that he has a whole bunch of putters, but he is not sure which one he will go with.
